Olson Named the 66th Alice in Dairyland

The 66th Alice in Dairyland is Kristin (Natzke) Olson. Olson will now be the state’s agricultural ambassador for one year as an employee of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP).

Schenk - Accelerated Genetics Vice President Operations

Accelerated Genetics is pleased to announce John Schenk as Vice President Operations. In his position, Schenk will be responsible for overseeing operations of the farm and barn, semen laboratory, and semen warehouse at both Accelerated Genetics’ Production Facility in Westby, Wis. and at the Nebraska Bull Service facility near McCook, Neb.

June PACE Releases

PACE (Progressive Action through Cooperative Efforts) is Accelerated Genetics' young sire proving program. The goal of the PACE program is to identify sires with high reliable production and type proofs, and select bulls that sire genetically superior, long-lasting, high-producing daughters. The PACE program samples over 140 Holsteins plus a number of high protein breed bulls annually.

Marion Passes Away
