Beef ACC-SS Sexed Semen
ACC-SS Sexed Semen is now available from Accelerated
Genetics for beef sires. Acc-ss sexed semen is processed through Sexing Technologies'
(ST) technique which utilizes flow cytometry to sort the female chromosome-bearing
sperm cells from the male chromosome-bearing system. The ST sexed semen product
allows you to predict the gender of your calves within 90 percent accuracy (plus
or minus 5%). This allows producers to increase herd size, avoid the costs of replacement
animals and reduce the risk of disease when bringing in animals from other herds.
