Scholarships

Youth are the foundation and next generation of agriculture. Accelerated Genetics is excited to present these scholarships to its customer's families to ensure agriculture has a bright future!

Applicants or their parents must be currently active customers of Accelerated Genetics to be eligible for both types of scholarships.



Scholarships for High School Students:


Accelerated Genetics awards four - $500.00 scholarships to high school seniors planning to major in agriculture at a short course vocational technical college or four-year university. Any high school senior who has participated in FFA, 4-H, any of the various breed organizations or any agricultural organization is eligible to apply.

Instructions:
Click on the link below and download the Scholarship Application PDF document. Fill out the application, save a copy on your computer with your name included in file name (ie. ‘John Smith Scholarship 2015.pdf’), and then email your application to
scholarships@accelgen.com.

If more room is needed for your answers, additional pages may be added.  No more than 1 sheet per question.  Please save the additional pages with your name on it again (ie: ‘John Smith Add 2015.doc’) as either a .doc, .docx or .pdf.

Scholarships for College Students:

Two - $1,000.00 scholarships are awarded to students currently enrolled in a short course vocational technical college or a four-year university degree program. Supported by Accelerated Genetics, the collegiate scholarship program is for individuals who are currently in their freshman, sophomore, or junior year and are majoring in any agricultural field. The National FFA Foundation organizes this scholarship program.


Instructions:
The Collegiate Scholarship application can only be completed online at www.ffa.org and click on the Programs tab and then click on the Scholarship link.


The 2015 National FFA Scholarship application will be available online from November 15, 2014 to 5:00 pm EST February 1, 2015. (Required Signature Page must be mailed postmarked no later than February 8, 2015.)
