New Hires Join The Accelerated Genetics Team

Dechant is a Laboratory Technician at Accelerated Genetics' Semen and Distribution Center in Westby, Wis. and Smith is a General Programmer at Accelerated Genetics Adminstrative Headquarters in Baraboo, Wis.

Andrae Recognized With NAAB 100,000 Cow Club Award

“I didn’t grow up on a farm or come from an agricultural background,” said Rod Andrae, Accelerated Genetics Reproductive Services Technician. “My initial interest in agriculture came during college. A few years after graduating, I entered the agriculture industry and was pleased to meet some great people to learn from along the way.”

Kieler's Focus On Customers Helps Him Earn NAAB 150,000 Cow Club Award

Matt Kieler, Accelerated Genetics Reproductive Services Technician, enjoys the looks he receives while driving his work vehicle. It is a Volkswagen Passat fully equipped with a set of bullhorns on the front and a license plate that reads, BULL 1. “I’m the number one bull in the area, so I thought it was fitting,” said Kieler. “There are over 1.5 million miles on that set of horns, I’ve had them since the early 80’s. When I go through town, people are looking!”

NAAB 500,000 Unit Award Presented to Kimball

Larry Kimball is an Accelerated Genetics District Sales Manager, based out of Jerome, Idaho. Recently, Kimball was recognized at the National Association of Animal Breeders 68th Annual Convention in Green Bay, Wis. for selling his 500,000th unit of bovine semen. He is counted among an elite group of A.I. industry professionals as he is the 16th in the history of Accelerated Genetics to have sold over 500,000 units.

Montsma Honored With 150,000 Cow Club Award

“An average day for me is about 12 hours, I start my route at about 3:30 each morning,” said Ken Montsma, Accelerated Genetics Reproductive Services Technician from Brandon, Wis. Montsma was recently recognized at the National Association of Animal Breeders 68th Annual Convention in Green Bay, Wis. for breeding 150,000 cows throughout his career. “It’s not as easy as it might look, you can’t put up those kind of numbers without a lot of hours. As of now, I have surpassed the 175,000 cow mark.”

Correia Recognized By National Association of Animal Breeders

Since joining Accelerated Genetics in 1983 (known then as Tri-State Breeders) Ed Correia has sold over 500,000 units of bovine semen, a feat few have achieved in the A.I. Industry. He was recently recognized for this milestone in his career at the National Association of Animal Breeders 68th Annual Convention held in Green Bay, Wis.

Patnode Celebrates Two Milestones

Bruce Patnode, Accelerated Genetics Reproductive Services Technician, is celebrating two milestones in his career with Accelerated Genetics this year, his 25th year with the cooperative and his achievement of making it into the 100,000 Cow Club. Patnode was recognized recently at the National Association of Animal Breeders 68th Annual Convention in Green Bay, Wis. for breeding 100,000 cows throughout his career.

Klevgard Joins NAAB 100,000 Cow Club

When Regional Sales Manager Hendel was asked to describe Klevgard she says, “Darin Klevgard had a very successful career as a technician in the Neillsville, Wis. area. He served both small and large herd customers and was dedicated to them all. Darin was known for his upbeat attitude and friendly smile. In June of 2013, Darin moved to a District Sales Representative position and now serves retail customers in Western Wisconsin.” This enthusiastic team player is now being recognized for his hard work and effort.
