The Communications Coordinator works with the Director of Communications and others in the organization to develop and implement communications strategies on the Animal Health Products side of the Communications Team.
The Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to promote a positive public image of Accelerated Genetics within the Animal Health Products Division. This position will also collaborate with others in the organization to achieve brand consistency, coordination of messages, and the highest standards for external communications.
This position is responsible for coordinating organization-wide design, message, and content generation, including electronic and print communications, designing and creating marketing pieces including the directories, flyers, labels and newsletters are required.

• Manage creation, production, and dissemination of printed publications for education, development, and administration purposes (such as newsletters, brochures, exhibition and event signage)

Description: Responsible for clinical care and disease surveillance of bulls in residence at Accelerated Genetics facilities. Assist in the documentation and qualification of semen from Accelerated Genetics bulls for international sales. Assist in the documentation and qualification of semen and embryos for international sales. Provide organization of veterinary service needs for Accelerated Genetics.

Interdependent Responsibilities: Internal Customers - Work with Product Development, and Farm & Barn teams ensuring the integration of Accelerated Genetics’ animal health programs into current company business plan. Internal customers include research scientists, product development, product managers, sire analysts, farm and barn manager, and supervisors. External Customers - Work with government regulatory officials, bull owners, breed registries, and veterinary associations.

Key Responsibilities:
A. Clinical care to resident bull population -

• Medical assessment and management

• Surgery when indicated and appropriate

• Referral to University of Wisconsin-Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital when appropriate

B. Provide diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for diseased bulls
C. Conduct scheduled disease detection and prevention procedures

Key Responsibilities:  Responsible for the management of Accelerated Genetics programs such as GEM, IMAGE, and large herd genomic program, AMP Genetics. Including:
·  Assist the Regional Program Specialist in growing volume, measuring results and supporting the innovation and development of all programs and support tools.
·  Develop training programs for new Program Service Specialist and the sales team for the growth and promotion of all Accelerated Genetics programs.
·  Ensure the genetic development of GEM & IMAGE are current to industry standards, trends and has the latest tools to help customers reach their goals
·  Identify field needs for expanded programs and services
·  Work with World Wide Sires and Latin America on program support.
·  Work with 10 to 15 herds on GEM evaluation to keep abreast of the program and animal evaluation

Reproduction Services Manager

Description:  To provide leadership, communication, develop and coordinate sales support for Accelerated Genetics Reproduction Services team by providing the sales team and customers worldwide, with solution based reproduction support in our dairy and beef divisions.

Key Responsibilities:  Support our sales team by developing programs to incorporate Reproduction Services as a tool to increase sales and/or strengthen Accelerated Genetics image in the United States and worldwide.

·  Coordinate activities, educate and provide training for Reproduction Service Specialists and Reproduction Advisors team
·  Train Accelerated Genetics personnel in reproduction topics, especially our ReproConnections program.
·  Facilitate continuous training to our ReproConnections group to stay on the cutting edge of reproduction technologies by attending top national reproduction conferences (DCRC, ADSA, etc.) and/or by bringing recognized outside speakers to the group.
·  Continue to bring new innovative ideas on reproduction and genetic solutions to enhance our customers goals and objectives
·  Participate and present at sales meetings, producer meetings and other cooperative events
·  Work with sales personnel and managers to support sales objectives and implement effective sales strategies
·  Be involved with all reproduction projects developed by Accelerated Genetics. This includes ReproConnections, CowScout, data collection and processing for the ACE fertility index, AI manual, etc.
·  Write technical articles for internal Accelerated Genetics publications (Genetic Trends, website, etc.) and national dairy magazines (Hoards Dairyman, Progressive dairyman, etc.).
·  Develop Spanish and/or Portuguese reproductive materials as needed.
·  Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the Vice-President of Domestic Sales.
·  Work in coordination with the Vice President of International to provide timely reproduction services in any country outside the Americas when needed with World Wide Sires (WWS) Area District Managers (ADMs) and Accelerated Genetics RSMs in our Latin American markets
·  Keep in communication with Bovine Reproduction researchers and academic institutions in the US, and involvement of Accelerated Genetics in research projects in such areas when possible and needed


Qualifications/Competencies:
·  Synchronization systems using hormones approved for use in the U.S.
·  Specialization in the areas of artificial insemination and reproductive management of dairy and beef cattle. 
·  Understanding of electronic heat detection systems

Description: To establish and coordinate management of Accelerated Genetics’ fleet and cell phone/tablets ensuring all aspects of job coincide with established company policy and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

A.  Create departmental and fleet expense and capital budgets, to submit for approval to management. Track performance versus forecast on a monthly (or other) basis.
B.  Analyze and determine what vehicles to purchase/lease, and how they are to be equipped.
C.  Report fleet expense performance regularly to management, including an annual report when submitting the coming year’s budget.
D.  Manage, assign, and track use of pool vehicles as required.
E.  Research asset tracking/E-Log Service on appropriate vehicles.
F.  Analyze and determine best cell phone carrier for company’s needs, domestically and internationally.
G.  Manage, assign, and track use of cell phones/tablets as required.
H.  Report cell phone/tablet expense performance regularly to management, including an annual report when submitting the coming year’s budget.
I.  Backup to functions performed by accounting department.

Expectations:
Fleet management
A.  Understand finance and accounting, as it pertains to the acquisition (purchase or lease) of vehicles, and their accounting on the company’s balance sheet.
B.  Knowledge of the supplier market to assess outsourcing options. This would include fleet leasing, fleet programs such as maintenance and accident management and fuel cards, and other administrative programs. Understand what to outsource and what to keep in house, and know who offers such programs and how they are priced.
C.  Knowledge on how to price, spec and purchase or lease vehicles. This would include knowing how manufacturers price, how to read an invoice, and the distribution network from order to delivery.
D.  Be familiar with the used-vehicle market, including wholesale, auction, and employee markets. Know how vehicles are sold via each method, how they are priced, and tie that in to how vehicles are equipped when new.
E.  Have a basic understanding of vehicle systems and technology to be able to authorize repairs.
F.  Coordinate vehicle licensing, registration, and insurance
G.  Have experience in creating and establishing fleet policies and procedures, from vehicle assignment to replacement cycling, from personal use to accident reporting.
H.  Understand and track total cost of ownership (TCO), to determine what vehicles are performing as predicted and what aren’t, for purposes of vehicle selection. Create and analyze vehicle cost and exception reports.
I.  Be able to establish both a departmental and fleet budget, both expense and capital.
J.  Knowledge of Hazmat compliance and ability to train others of regulations
 
Cell Phone / Tablet management
K.  Be familiar with various cell phone plans both domestically and internationally in order to make educated decisions concerning company’s vast cell phone usage.
L.  Have experience in creating and establishing cell phone/tablet policies and procedures, from assignment to damage reporting and replacement.

Animal Health Products Marketing Specialist

Accounting Clerk

Position:  To ensure the accurate accounting of sales, cash receipts and adjustments to customer accounts.

Location: Baraboo, WI.

Duties and Responsibilities: This individual will have responsibility for receiving daily sales representatives’ reports and office payments, data entry of sales reports, customer service reports, processing account adjustments and oversee the monthly distribution of statements to customers and field personnel.  Additionally, this role will communicate and partner with field personnel to work with customers on account discrepancies and payments.  As part of the Finance team, you will also work in conjunction with other Accounting Clerks to know all areas of work related (processing journal entries, cash short/over sheets, deposits, certificate sales).

Qualifications:  A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related business area; one-two years of experience is required.  Attention to detail with good written and oral communication skills as well as experience with MS Word and Excel is desired.
