Dairy Farmer Leader Receives Lyng Award

Past Accelerated Genetics Board Chair, Glen Schroeder, was honored by the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board (NDB) as the 2014 recipient of the Richard E. Lyng Award for his extensive contributions and distinguished service to dairy promotion. 

Schroeder, a dairy farmer from Caledonia, Minn., was recognized at the Joint NDB/National Milk Producers Federation/United Dairy Industry Association (UDIA) Annual Meeting in Grapevine, Texas, last week.

The National Association of Animal Breeders (NAAB) held their annual meeting in late September in Green Bay, Wis., in conjunction with the 25th NAAB Biennial Technical Conference on Artificial Insemination and Reproduction.
