Accelerated Genetics now has many high ranking sires in all breeds. The PACE program returned three bulls that rank in the Top 11 in the Holstein breed for TPI. Two of these sires, 014HO05639 CM and 014HO05560 Emerald, received outstanding second summaries. The sale featured the first sons of 014AN00350 Iron Mountain and they were the highlight of the sale. 31 sons of Iron Mountain averaged $8807, with the top six selling bulls going for $44,500, $40,000, $18,000, $16,000, $15,000 and $12,500. Progeny of 014AN00271 Predominant were again featured in the sale. 15 sons averaged $5550. Most of these bulls were fall yearlings, with the high selling bull of this group being a Predominant son at $9000. It was a great day for Accelerated Genetics at the Peak Dot Ranch Sale in Wood Mountain, SK, Canada.
