Genetic Visions, Inc. Receives New Certification

Iron Mountain"This is our second Illumina CSPro Certification. GoldenGate allows us to design small custom assays as well as employ commercially available kits, says Dr. Mike Cowan, General Manager of Genetic Visions. "The 3K BovineNetMerit assay is a GoldenGate procedure. It was introduced in September 2010 as a lower cost means to help identify the genetic potential of young dairy cattle."

GoldenGate compliments the larger Infinium-base assays which are better suited for whole genome assessments and exploration. GoldenGate, along with Infinium certification, illustrates Genetic Visions, Inc.'s continued desire to address the needs of researchers and customers, today and in the future.
