2010 Accelerated Genetics Judging Contest
Students from across the nation will travel to Viroqua, Wis. for the 17th Annual Intercollegiate Judging Contest on September 19, 2010. The contest is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Vernon County Fairgrounds in Viroqua, Wis. The deadline for teams to register is September 9. Update on Contractural Arachnodactyly in Angus Cattle
(Formerly Fawn Calf Syndrome)
After more than a year of research aimed at identification of the genetic mutation causing Contractural Arachnodactyly (formerly Fawn Calf Syndrome), a test has finally been developed.
Accelerated Genetics tested its entire line-up of Angus sires and is pleased to announce that all of the current sires available have been tested CA-free.

Wisconsin State Youth Judging & Classification Contest
Accelerated Genetics was proud to sponsor the Wisconsin Holstein State Youth Judging and Classification Contest. This contest, held Monday, July 12th at the Manitowoc Expo & Ice Center, hosted numerous junior members from across Wisconsin. The contest took place during the Wisconsin State Holstein Show.
