Drier bedding packs with the use of less straw
The stimulation of the beneficial micro-organisms favors the development and activity
of the aerobic mineralizing micro-organisms and stimulates at the same time the
development and activity of the humifying micro-organisms which transform the manure,
straw, sawdust, etc. into humus.A humified bedding pack, unlike a putrefactive one, can absorb a greater quantity of liquid and has no putrid odors. Furthermore, humified bedding can absorb 7-10 times more liquid than bedding with only straw or sawdust! In this way, the environment is more comfortable and remains cleaner for the animals.
This means:
- less straw is required: 30-50%
- longer time periods between straw renewal: the time can be doubled and more.
Drier and healthier stalls
The most important result is the bio-hygienization of the stalls, especially in
